Pithos Cite

A Microsoft Word add-in that cites from your Pithos library. It reads your library over iCloud, inserts numbered or author–date citations, and keeps a bibliography in step with the document as you write.

This is a testing build. It is not in the Microsoft Marketplace yet, and it is handed out directly to a small number of testers.

What it does to a document

• Citations are inserted as locked Word content controls, re-numbered on every refresh.
• The bibliography lives in one content control and re-renders in place.
• Its bookkeeping is stored inside the .docx, so the file stays self-contained.

Privacy

This site serves files and nothing else. It runs no application code, has no database, and stores no credentials. Your library is read by the add-in directly from iCloud — it never passes through this server, and neither does your sign-in.
